The overwhelming majority of radiology practices do not employ a dental radiologist, and most medical radiologists know very little about teeth and dental disease and pathology. This means that their diagnostic imaging reports do not provide you with useful clinical information, and many subtle and early lesions are not detected; sometimes with serious implications.
