Dr Raahib Dudhia

(BDSc HONS I, DClinDent DMFR)

Dr Raahib Dudhia trained as a dentist at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, and completed post-graduate training in Dento-maxillofacial Radiology after working in private dental practice for three years.  The dental practice Raahib worked at installed one of the first Cone Beam scanners in Queensland, allowing Raahib privileged access to this exciting technology from the very early days.  Raahib has seen the development and maturation of Cone Beam technology, and sees many significant benefits for dental practitioners and their patients through embracing 3D imaging.

He has extensive experience in private radiology practice, reporting Cone Beam Scans, OPGs, Lateral Cephs and TMJ x-rays, and has also reviewed many CT Dentascans and MRI scans of the TMJs.  Raahib lectures at Griffith University Dental School in Southport and is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the James Cook University Dental School in Cairns.  He also teaches dental assistants and regularly presents lectures for the Australian Dental Association and affiliated groups.  A bit of a tech lover, Raahib likes to keep up to date with new developments in dental imaging, and has excellent relationships with many dental suppliers locally.  He is a big fan of OsiriX for Mac, but likes to familiarise himself with any new Cone Beam viewing packages that become available.

A keen photographer, Raahib also teaches Clinical Photography and has been described by his friends as a “Digital Imaging Junkie”.

Raahib is happy to assist clinicians who have their own in-house imaging equipment, and can even liaise with your equipment supplier and provide technical support and quality assurance.  He can also provide detailed reports for any images and scans taken in a local radiology practice.
